As the founder and leader, he takes a hands-on approach in educating, supervising, and guiding all team members, ensuring that each provider delivers the highest standards of care. His leadership philosophy is rooted in a commitment to excellence, treating every patient with the same
level of care and attention as he would his own family. Dr. Nukta's dedication to professional evelopment extends beyond his practice. He stays at the forefront of the field by actively participating in plastic surgery and aesthetic surgery meetings, evaluating the latest research, and integrating cutting-edge technologies to continuously elevate the level of care provided at NOVA Plastic Surgery and ermatology. Dr. Nukta also partners with Shenandoah University’s PA program to offer rotations at NOVA Plastic Surgery and Dermatology, providing future Physician Assistant students with hands-on experience and education in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics. Mackenzie is a Nationally Board-Certified Physician Assistant with a passion for helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals while maintaining natural, balanced results. She earned her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from James Madison University. With a commitment to individualized care, Mackenzie takes a holistic approach to skincare, working closely with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and desires. She strives to enhance her patients' natural beauty, ensuring they feel confident and rejuvenated.
Mackenzie is experienced in a variety of Aesthetic Treatments, including Microneedling, Laser Hair Removal, Neuromodulators (such as Botox and Dysport), CoolSculpting, and Advanced Laser treatments. Her dedication to ongoing education and her meticulous attention to detail ensure that her patients receive the highest quality of care and the best possible outcomes. Emma Phillips is a Nationally Board-Certified Physician Assistant at NOVA Plastic Surgery and Dermatology and SkinLab Ashburn, where she brings a compassionate, patient-centered approach to every treatment. A Northern Virginia native, Emma’s journey in healthcare began at Clemson University, where she earned her undergraduate degree, before continuing her education at the prestigious Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, where she received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies.

Emma’s clinical philosophy is rooted in the belief that every patient deserves thoughtful care. She is passionate about building lasting, trusting relationships with those she treats, taking the time to truly listen to their concerns and goals. Darshita began her career in independent salons, where she developed a strong foundation in customized facials, body treatments, and in-depth skin consultations. Over the years, she has worked with a variety of skin types and concerns—from acne and sensitivity to signs of aging—allowing her to tailor treatments with precision and care. Nicola is a licensed aesthetician with over 14 years of experience in the skincare industry. Her passion for skin health and wellness shines through in every treatment she provides. Nicola considers herself lucky to have a career she truly loves, where she can combine her expertise with her desire to help others look and feel their best. Her calm, caring approach puts clients at ease and creates a relaxing, welcoming environment from the moment they walk in.

What Nicola enjoys most about her work is building meaningful relationships with her clients. She takes pride in customizing each facial to suit individual needs—whether targeting acne, dryness, sensitivity, signs of aging, or overall skin maintenance. She believes education is just as important as treatment, and works closely with her clients to develop effective skincare routines and treatment plans that deliver real, lasting results.

As the Practice Manager, Jenn works with patients from their initial contact with the practice and follows them closely throughout their care. She also handles the billing for the practice and is here to help you with any questions you may have.
